Project of the Month - March

March - Cracked Glass Technique - By Judy

You will need, a stamped and coloured Sugar Nellie image, an inkpad suitable for embossing (such as Versamark) and Ultra Thick Clear Embossing Powder.

1.Stamp and colour image as usual.

2.Cover image with Versamark ink or equivalent, then cover with Ultra Thick Clear Embossing powder (normal clear embossing powder will work just as well)
3.Heat to melt. Add second coat of powder while still hot.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have smooth coverage

4.Put in freezer until cold.
5.Crack image as desired! (Try doing it in different directions)
(Optional: daub dark brown ink into the cracks for a vintage look!)

Then, all you have to do is apply to a card or other craft project!

Please click on the photographs to be taken to The Sweeties own blog's for more pictures and details of how they created their projects.
Firstly this month, please join me in welcoming our guest Sweetie, Cathy!
